Howzit Radio is an emerging digital-first community radio brand for South Africans living abroad. We are English-first and inclusive of the diversity of South African cultures and languages — a warm home-away-from-home, not a narrow nostalgia act.

We are designed to connect listeners with music, home, each other and their new local communities. Our UK launch is the starting point, with a long-term ambition to serve diaspora communities in other places too.

Community news and listener-facing content should be responsibly reviewed before it goes out. Some station imaging or continuity audio may be AI-assisted, always under editorial supervision. Listener trust matters — we would rather be clear and honest than loud and vague.
